TERMS & CONDITIONS


All orders are accepted on the understanding that the following terms and conditions are adhered to:

1. All prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate, on the day of despatch.

2. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure all products and prices in our catalogue are correct, the company reserves the right to change specification and amend prices without prior notification.

3. Please contact us for a quotation to deliver off shore orders or for delivery North of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

4. All deliveries are to ground floor level only and suitable access must be available.

5. Glass products should be checked thoroughly upon receipt and signed for accordingly.  (Delivery of glass products to UK mainland only).

6. Faults or damages must be notified in writing within 3 working days of the delivery date, failure to do so will result in any claims thereafter being refused.

7. If Formbase Furniture Ltd. agrees to the cancellation of a Customer’s Order prior to delivering the Goods, Formbase Furniture Ltd. may charge up to 100% of the order value (plus VAT at the prevailing rate).  The majority of the products in our catalogue are made to order and therefore non-returnable once manufacturing has commenced. Please ensure you check and confirm all aspects of your order in advance.

8. Any goods ordered in error, must be reported within 3 working days of the delivery date.  As stated above, most orders are non-returnable.  If, however a factory agrees to restock your products they may charge from 40% upwards of the order value and will expect goods to be complete, in the original packaging and in perfect condition.  Any returned items will be charged at the expense of the customer. Failure to adhere to this will result in the original sales invoice being upheld.

9. Some assembly will be required, as a precautionary measure, please do not dispose of the packaging until all furniture is fully assembled.

10. Refused deliveries will be subject to a redelivery charge for returning and re-stocking.

11. Titles of all goods remain with Formbase Furniture Ltd. until payments are made in full.  We reserve the right to gain access to your property to remove our goods should payment not be received in full.

12. Whilst reasonable care has been taken to re-produce accurate product colours and finishes in this catalogue, the colour and finishes supplied may differ slightly. Please note all dimensions are approximate.

13. Delivery dates given are estimates only and Formbase Furniture Ltd. is not liable for any loss or damage or failure to deliver by the estimated dates.  Formbase Furniture Ltd. recommend that the Customer does not dispose of any old furniture until the new replacement Goods have been successfully delivered.


WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY ON ORDERS OVER £350, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
ORDERS BELOW WILL INCUR A MINIMUM ORDER CHARGE OF £25. SOME PRODUCTS MAY INCUR AN ADDITIONAL DELIVERY SURCHARGE.
